Violet is looking for an experienced web developer to build innovative web applications using HTML5. This is a full time position.
Responsibilities:

Design, prototype, and implement scalable, reliable, and maintainable web applications using HTML5.

Enforce code quality through test driven development.

Collaborate closely with engineering, product, and marketing teams to define product requirements.

Distill product requirements into design and technical specifications.

Collect, analyze, and act on data about product performance.
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience building compelling web applications.
- Experienced with Instant Web Publishing, PHP, XSLT, XML, and ODBC
- Expertise in JavaScript, and CSS.
- Experience with FileMaker Server an added bonus
- Integrating with Social Media API’s
- Organized with a high attention to details
- Able to work flexible hours from home or office when needed
- Strong interest in product design and building innovative user interfaces.
- Significant experience developing web applications using HTML5 or Gears.
